Mustafa Tai, MD
Vice President of Physician Services
Dr. Tai graduated from medical school with a passion for mental health. He completed his residency from Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago, IL, where he was involved in the care of both Military Veterans and Active Duty Navy personnel and Navy Recruits. He then received one year of training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from Rutgers University – Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in NJ.
He brings with him an interest in high acuity patients and a well-rounded understanding of all facets of mental health treatment.
Dr. Tai is also interested in clinical and bedside teaching of both residents and medical students and has held faculty appointments at Boston University School of Medicine and Tufts University School of Medicine.
Dr. Tai is back in Houston with his family to provide psychiatric services in the community he was raised in.
