About The Role

The PsychPlus Social Media Manager is a key role to support our digital marketing goals. The channels are brand new and we aim to pass you the baton to grow our Instagram, Linkedin, Facebook and test TikTok and YouTube Shorts. The selected candidate will be in charge of representing the PsychPlus voice and vision across all social channels in a cohesive way. You will provide your social media industry expertise to stay current with the ever evolving platforms and advise stakeholders rooted in best practices. Your mission is to enhance our social presence, grow our audience, lift engagement, drive traffic to our website and upcoming app, establish a benchmark for brand awareness while fully managing the social editorial calendars across channels (posts, stories), publishing, and community management. You will execute our social strategy and have the ability to update the strategy over time, develop new campaigns, collaborate with departments, support new press or blog posts on social media. You will work closely with a social media content manager to assist you in development of creative assets to implement.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding, experience and ability to create value-based content for social media accounts and digital ads (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc) and understanding the various size formats that apply to each platform.
  • Successful track record with Social Media for business. Bonus if in the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to unpack company marketing goals / initiatives to apply to evolving social strategy.
  • Experience with Meta Business Suit, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, Digital Marketing for Telehealth.
  • Create compelling and engaging short and long videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. This includes concepting, pre-production, scripting, filming, editing, working with stock video, audio, and voice.
  • Must have video editing and graphic experience. Ability to create gifs, simple animations, infographics, short videos, and establish branded templates.
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, Illustrator, After Effects, Canva, Capcut – flexibility between desktop and mobile applications. AI content tools are a bonus.
  • Content strategy oriented to produce value-based and educational content that drives back to our company mission, values and services.
  • Ability to take direction, work in a team, and open to collaborate to achieve overarching content goals.
  • Understanding of efficient workflows to balance multiple projects. Familiarity with Slack, Trello or Monday.com.
  • Current knowledge of social media management tools for planning, publishing and analytics (e.g. Later, Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout).
  • Positive attitude, deadline and team oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
  • 2 years of experience creating social content for brands or business. Background in digital marketing, advertising or creative agency preferred.
  • Plan & develop a social media content calendar for relevant platforms (Facebook, Instagram (to include Stories), LinkedIn, and future social media such as TikTok and YouTube Shorts). ○
  • Includes responsibility for copywriting all posts and delivering copy direction to content creators for graphic assets (e.g. infographic carousels or designed stories and video assets.
  • Ability to collaborate on writing short scripts for filmed video.
  • Understanding of social media analytics and reporting for stakeholders. Leverage measurement tools to provide progress reports and mine insights, while continually finding ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role will be between $20-$30/hr at the commencement of employment. However, base pay will be determined on an individualized basis and will be impacted by location and years of experience. Further, base pay is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Psychplus Health-sponsored benefits.
