Faisal Tai, MD
Chief Executive Officer
Faisal Tai, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist and founder of PsychPlus. He completed his training in Psychiatry at the University of Iowa, where he served as President of GME, overseeing over 800 residents and fellows.
Due to his work in over 50 different hospital and clinic settings, he developed an intimate understanding of the journey of a mental health patient.
During residency, he began working on an EHR (Electronic Health Record) solution for mental health. Initially, he opened up his first clinic as a beta site for this EHR. Today, Dr. Tai leads the company’s strategy to scale across 50 states and function in a vertically integrated model.
Simultaneously, he provides vision for the software development to ensure it effectively addresses practical problems in this space. Dr. Tai grew up in Houston, TX, and enjoys running, soccer, volleyball, and golf.
