Faisal Tai, MD

Dr. Faisal Tai is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist recognized by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his pre-medical studies at the University of Houston, earned his Doctor of Medicine from UMHS, and completed his Residency at the University of Iowa. During his training, Dr. Tai served as President of the GME House Staff Council at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he introduced programs aimed at reducing physician burnout. His clinical focus includes schizophrenia, mood disorders, personality disorders, anxiety, OCD, neuropsychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, consult-liaison psychiatry, and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). Dr. Tai currently serves as Medical Director of Geriatric Psychiatry at HCA Tomball Regional. A Houston native, he is glad to have returned to his community and enjoys running, soccer, volleyball, and golf in his personal time.
