Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, LPC-A) – Part-Time

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat emotional, mental, and behavioral disorders
  • Conduct initial intake appointments to gather patient information
  • Develop and update treatment and safety plans to that both therapist and client can follow
  • Provide an array of evidence-based therapy and brief psychological assessments for a diverse patient population
  • Perform case management tasks
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Implement emergency care techniques and protocols when patients are in crisis
  • Provide referrals for additional care or services when required
  • Maintain detailed confidential records within EHR
  • Maintain confidentiality and remain HIPPA compliant via telehealth practices
  • Follow clinical practice policy and procedures
  • Attend trainings as required for professional and program development
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team conferences with psychiatrists and additional staff

Requirements

  • LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPC-A License
  • Must hold current licensure with ability to practice in Texas
  • Must be in good standing with professional licensing board
  • Ability to work at least 4 hours each week
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with staff and clients
  • Ability to remain calm under stressful conditions
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field
  • Able to work collaboratively with psychiatrists and administrative staff
  • Oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and superior organizational abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, to meet deadlines, and to work in a team environment
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems

Additional Information

The expected base pay for this role depends on clinical license and experience. This will be a 1099 position with a pay per visit compensation.

Pay per visit compensation model:

  • New patient, Psychotherapy Diagnostic/ Established Patient, Psychotherapy (60 min): $65
  • Established Patient, Psychotherapy (40 min): $55
  • Established Patient, Psychotherapy (20 min): $45
  • New/Established Patient, Family/ Couples Therapy (30 min): $65
